Borderfree primarily uses donations where the need is greatest. This allows us to deploy funds flexibly and with a focus on impact.

If you would like to support a specific project, you can make a corresponding note in the donation form.

If you donate as part of a specific campaign – for example, for a refugee camp or emergency medical aid – your donation will be used exclusively for the stated purpose.

For monthly donations, you can select "Monthly" on the donation form. A user account will then be automatically created, allowing you to cancel your subscription at any time.

If you want to ensure that as much of your donation as possible reaches Borderfree, you can set up a standing order through your bank; this way, we won't pay any fees.

We work with Payrexx , a Swiss-based payment provider with the highest security standards (PCI DSS compliant). Your data is transmitted in encrypted form and treated confidentially.

Yes, every digital payment incurs transaction fees, which are charged to us as an organization. The amount of the fee depends on the chosen payment method.

Yes. Borderfree is recognized as a non-profit organization in Switzerland. Your donation is therefore tax-deductible.

Borderfree operates with a lean, dedicated team. Over 90% of donations go directly to our project work. Our annual reports provide transparent disclosure of all income and expenses.
